Aging Whistle Pig 100% Rye Lakewood Ohio

CLEVELAND!!! We are getting ready for our first Whistle Pig dinner at Sarita here in Lakewood Ohio. Whistle Pig Rye Bourbon dinner will take place at Sarita on November 11th at 6pm. October 11th we got ready to barrel age our piggy back 100% rye to give it the perfect taste.

First, we filled the barrels with hot water so they barrels could swell. Then we used three ingredients Whistle Pig 100% Rye, Sweet vermouth, and Averna Amaro. The barrels were filled with 4 bottles of Whistle Pig Rye and will remain at sarita to age until November 11th!
